Great Experience Thus Far
So far....flawless. All of the local appliance stores, Lowes, Home Depot, Best Buy, etc., were on two week delays for delivery. Our old washer broke the day we got back from vacation so, two weeks was not even an option. Cautiously, we made the decision to purchase this washer on Amazon who promised a 3 day delivery time. The entire process was seamless, order the washer, pick your delivery time on the day promised and wait. Delivery: The delivery window was from 9am-12pm and the delivery truck got here at 9:20am. They had the new washer hooked up, running and the old washer loaded onto the truck in a matter of 20 minutes. Very professional and courteous. Washer: So far, the washer is working great. Huge capacity and relatively quiet compared to our previous washer. I've read other reviews here where people complain about how loud it is and I'm not quite sure what they expect. A washing machine is not like a newer dishwasher that runs "whisper quiet". It's a large appliance....clothes and towels get heavy when they are wet....this will inevitably produce decibel levels that are somewhat high.

Ive had this set - I also bought the matching dryer, for 3 months now. So its early to speak of longevity but I believe this is the best washer and dryer Ive ever owned. Hands down worth the money. I researched on consumer reports and feel I bought the best washer and dryer on the market. The washer gets clothes clean without being overly wrinkled like the last top loading agitator free machine I had. Both washer and dryer have so many options. I can wash and dry huge loads. Im not wasting water. Theyre quiet. I read a bunch of reviews complaining of black mold in the soap dispenser - never have had it. I open the soap dispenser and lid after a wash and it drains and air dries with no problems. I pray these machines last for years because I am well pleased!!

This is a great dryer and the automatic modes work well. When we first got it, we found that the Check Vent light illuminated every time we tried to dry some clothes or towels. Also the dryer would quit the cycle early even on timed dry. We called some local service people to come and clean our dryer vent, and they found it was nearly totally blocked. After the cleaning, the dryer has performed beautifully, and the clothes are dry when the cycle ends. All in all, the dryer's warning about a clogged vent probably saved us some real headaches or possibly even a catastrophic dryer vent fire, so we are quite pleased with the outcome. We recommend this dryer highly.

this is a great dryer for the price
So far, this is a great dryer for the price. It is HUGE inside and there's even a light. I didn't realize how small my dryer was until this one arrived. Even the "hot" setting is hotter than my last dryer. I saw reviews about it being noisy, but it's downstairs in my laundry room and I can't hear it when I walk away so it's not a bother to us. The delivery service was great, they double checked a couple times via email/phone call that we would be ready and called when they arrived. They were nice people and got the job done quickly and efficiently. We are very happy with our purchase!

I will divide this review into two parts. One for Amazon and the physical dryer and the other for the installation which was included in the price. One: The order went smoothly and was delivered by the installer exactly on the date and time I requested on Amazon's order. The unit runs fine and I give that part of the order 5 stars. Two: The installation, a disaster. They pulled up with the dryer in a beat up 20 foot box truck that looked like it had 200,000 miles on it. Definitely not an Amazon image. Two workmen. Carried the new dryer down into the basement and removed the old one. So far so good. Then the physical installation. These guys were definitely not tradesmen, more like a couple of laborers and a truck. They did not have the parts to do the installation properly. I ended up furnishing the vent hood and an elbow to make the connection. It had to go up and over the foundation which you would think to be standard for a basement installation. They had a vent hood for a drywall wall. They tried to put the elbow on backwards, female to female doesn't work. They ended up asking me for duct tape which they used to tape the vent to the vent hood. They did not attach the vent hood to the wall, just left it floating free. I will have to take that apart and install it properly. Then when my wife went to use the dryer, she said that the dryer wobbled, they had not even installed it level. Two diagonal feet too long or two too short so it rocked from three forward feet to three backward feet. That took me five minutes to fix and get the dryer firmly level in both directions. I figure that it will take me thirty minutes to correct the vent, fifteen if my wife will help me. So for the installation portion of the order I give them one star for getting it into the basement. I have to wonder what I would have ended up with had I payed the four dollars more to get it directly from Sears. The cost of the dryer, plus delivery, plus hauling the old one away, plus installation, plus the flexible gas line, plus the vent hood and piping. The main reason I went for Amazon and their one price includes all, no hidden charges, just lousy installation.

A great quality washing machine
Many washing options for many different items make this an excellent choice for replacing our old machine. When the load is spinning, it goes so fast that it sounds like a helicopter above our house. It's not annoying, it only proves the quality of the machine. Simply add the clothes, add detergent, fabric softener (optional), and bleach (optional); then select the cycle, and you may adjust water temperature, soil level, and spin speed. I expect this machine to last many more years.

I'll pay a couple of hundred bucks more for a dryer that simply works every time. My clothes are always dry without being overheated with this smart dryer. No problems. I have four kids and absolutely no time to 'babysit' the machines, running them again and again if the clothes turn out damp. This machine has a real 4.5-5 star rating on Amazon - not a phony rating. All the dryers and washers sold on Home Depot or Lowes are allegedly five stars, but they're not truly great in real life. It's like these stores now have professional reviewers give phony 5-star reviews on machines that don't quite do the job, because they've learned that consumers just go by the star rating and price. Amazon's verified purchase reviews are more genuine, and this dryer is one of Amazon's top rated machines in *real* life.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this new dryer!
Love my new dryer. Have had it a couple of months now. Dries much quicker, larger loads, quiet. the display is easy to use. My last washer/dryer combo (kenmore) lasted 25 yrs! Buying through Amazon was easy. The installer called the next day and we had the new washer/dryer installed within 3 days of order! The install and haul away worked great. We had already removed the door to the laundry room and moved the old appliances because we wanted to clean up the area really well, so install and removal only took the guys about 30 mins.
